I could write a whole post about how beautiful that dress is in person. It would make any groom’s heart melt. Yet I’ve never seen anyone handle a beautiful dress so gracefully, as Lindsey did. Lindsey carries a quiet grace  that you barely notice until it speaks to you loudly. As we shot her bridals, I got a small peak into her wedding day that was to come. A day she would epitomize what it looks like to be a bride.

Going into the bridals we had two things working against us: it was in May and in Texas. So on the day we took her bridal photos it was hot to say the least, but she never broke a sweat. Although we shot for the good part of two hours, she never once complained. She looked as beautiful as from the moment we started to the end of the shoot. Yet this was not just a girl in a pretty dress; this was a beautiful bride. Graceful and poised, Lindsey is the bride every girl dreams of being. And while the dress is breath taking, Lindsey stole the show.

As the photographers, we are of the first people to see the bride on her wedding day. There are three things a bride always wears: her excitement, her anticipation, and her wedding dress. We can capture the emotions, but the bride carries the dress.

When we shot Megan‘s bridals, a couple weeks before her wedding, we saw a direct glimpse into these details of her day. Into the excitement of being a bride, the anticipation of being a wife and the beautiful wedding dress that see her through both.

Not to spoil the surprise but Megan looked just as radiant, if not more, on her wedding day—photos to come soon.
